Senegal won the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time with a 4-2 shootout victory over seven-time champion Egypt, with SADIO MANE scoring the decisive penalty.

After MISSING a penalty in normal time, the Liverpool man eventually got the best of teammate Mohamed Salah.

Salah was unable to take a penalty kick after two of his Egypt teammates failed to convert their attempts.

And he couldn’t hold back his tears after Mane converted the game-winning penalty.

Egypt’s knockout game went to penalties for the third time in a row, but goalkeeper Mohamed Gabaski could not repeat his heroics.

Early in regulation time, Mane had a penalty, but Gabaski wonderfully stopped him from 12 yards to hold the score 0-0.

Before the spot attempt was saved, Salah looked to inform Egypt goalkeeper Gabaski which way his Liverpool team-mate was going to go.

Egypt’s central defender A penalty was awarded three minutes into the game for Mohamed Abdelmonem’s lunge on Saliou Ciss, to to the chagrin of suspended manager Carlos Quieroz, who was watching from the stands.
