Because of love, I’ve once overlooked someone’s ‘flaws’ — Tonto Dikeh

Tonto Dikeh, a Nigerian actress and philanthropist, has confessed that she once ignored the ‘evil’ in someone because she loved them.

On Monday, the Nollywood actress revealed this on her verified Instagram page, claiming that making such a decision was the most toxic thing she had ever done.

“One of the most toxic things I have ever done is to ignore the bad in someone because I love them,” she wrote.

“Don’t be me,” she wrote in the post, warning her fans not to follow in her footsteps.

The controversial actress has declared that the last year has been filled with love and treachery, and that “2022 shall be much greater and better.”

After a tumultuous breakup with her ex-lover, Prince Kpokpogri, she fell out with him last year.

Tonto said that dancer and Instagram celebrity Jane Mena was cheating on her husband, which added a new twist to the story.

As a result, Jane Mena demanded N500 million from Tonto Dikeh for alleged libel, and the two engaged in a social media spat.
