Bill Maher is one of the country’s most well-known political analysts. That is never allowed to get in the way of a good discussion with the “Real Time” host. Maher’s beliefs are frequently contentious, and this is no exception. Bill Maher says Elon Musk is on a superhuman mission to save Twitter, not to transport humanity to Mars.

The “Real Time” host pounced on the current CEO, whom he expects will be dismissed by Mr. Musk, who claimed that Twitter does not fall within the First Amendment’s definition. He contended that because the First Amendment extends only to Congress, no legislation limiting free expression could be adopted. According to Bill, this is a straightforward avoidance.

Maher is responding to Elon Musk’s commitment to protect free speech on Twitter. There has been some criticism and dread directed at this, but Bill maintains that it is necessary to allow the sun to shine through and free speech to flourish. Bill highlighted multiple examples of how Twitter’s censorship of free expression has failed.

If that is the point at which the line is drawn, you have failed Twitter.

He recounted how the New York Post was removed off the site for reporting on Hunter Biden’s emails, but the news turned out to be genuine. He noted that Twitter has suppressed discussion of the hypothesis that COVID began in a laboratory, and that there is now a school of thinking among some scientists that it did.

The finest, though, is a Christian news and satire website that was warned by Twitter for posting a comedy about Twitter being too sensitive. As Bill has noted, there is an utter lack of self-awareness. In terms of Elon taking over, Bill expressed relief that it will not be a 23-year-old, as he believes Gen Z stinks. The gentleman speaks for himself.
