Chelsea are the most difficult team to play against, according to Luka Modric, who said this in an interview with UEFA Champions League.

According to Luka Modric, after Real Madrid’s 5-4 UEFA Champions League victory over Chelsea, “Chelsea is an extremely difficult team to play with.”

Los Blancos upset Thomas Tuchel’s team 3-1 at Stamford Bridge in the first leg of the quarter-final last week, with Karim Benzema scoring a hat-trick in the process.

While Chelsea had a 3-0 lead in the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday, they were overhauled by Real Madrid. In extra time, Rodrygo came off the bench to break the tie, and Benzema scored the game-winning goal in the 96th minute.

Rodrygo’s main striker, Modric, praised Carlo Ancelotti’s hiring as manager after the game, describing Chelsea as “the toughest team to play against,” and hailing Chelsea as “the toughest team to play against.”

“I believe [Ancelotti] has made a significant improvement. “They performed admirably and had a significant impact on the game,” Modric added.

“Certainly, in this competition, previous experience is valuable, and I believe that today was beneficial to us.

“However, we were aware that it would be a difficult game following the first. It is an extremely difficult team to play against, in my opinion.

“I admire them greatly because of my friend Mateo [Kovacic], they are a really strong and strong team, and we knew it was going to be a difficult match. They are also a highly bonded squad.” But, in the end, we demonstrated good character, desire, and unity, and he was able to turn the situation around.”
