Raymond Abass alias Hushpuppi, a Nigerian socialite and former millionaire, will be sentenced to 20 years in prison on February 20, 2022, Valentine’s Day.
Late yesterday, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California revealed the information.
According to Thom Mrozek, the court’s Director of Media Relations, the Instagram big boy will be imprisoned after February 14, 2022.
While meeting with the media, Thom Mozerk also revealed that Hushpuppi had pleaded guilty to all of the offences related to internet scams and money laundering, among others.
In the words of Thom Mozerk:
“A fine of $500,000 or double the gross gain or gross loss resulting from the offence; 20 years in prison; three years of supervised release.”
Meanwhile, the FBI has initiated a major inquiry into the suspension of DCP Abba Kyari, the head of the Intelligence Response Team, for having ties with Hushpuppi.
