Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari has won his first major trophy with Ligue 1 club FC Nantes after beating OGC Nice in the finals of the Coup de France.

GOOD NEWS: Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari has won his first major trophy with Ligue 1 club FC Nantes.


Nantes defied all odds defeating the French giants in a narrow triumph to clinch their fourth French cup.

The game ended goalless after first proceedings but the yellow outfit responded perfectly well just two minutes from the break with a penalty.



Ludovic Blas made no mistake from the spot as Nantes finished the game with 1-0 advantage in regular time.

Osman was in action after replacing Nigeria international Moses Simon in the 73rd minute playing key role to the victory.


The 22-year old has been involved in five goals this season across all competitions; two goals and three assists.

He’s on loan and expected to return to parent club KAA Gent in Belgium. Hence looking at his exploit for the French outfit. There’s a possibility of permanent deal which will see him continue his stay in the French top flight.



The Accra Lions Academy graduate played part in Ghana’s qualification to the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup after knocking out Nigeria in the playoff few months ago.
