Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has stated his strikers lacked the cutting edge upfront reason they couldn’t bury the chances that came their way in their drawn game against Bechem United.
The champions got by held by the Hunters last Saturday at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in match-week 28 and thanks to goalkeeper Iddrisu Abdulai’s exploits on the day.
Speaking after the game, the ex- Medeama coach has disclosed his players played well but weren’t clinical upfront and added with confidence that, they are going to wrap up the season at a better position. He said;
“We lacked scoring abilities. I spoke with my players about that and I believe it will gradually work going forward.”
Four game unbeaten now. That’s our hallmark but is unfortunate that we didn’t start the season well but we believe better things will happen getting to the end.”

Hearts of Oak will face Bibiani Goldstars in their next game in the ongoing campaign.
