“I don into romance, in my own way,” Yul Edochie, an actor, says as he lies inside a coffin following the Federal Government’s ban on money ritual in films. (Video)

Yul Edochie, a well-known Nollywood actor, has turned to social media to share a video of himself resting inside a coffin, which he posted on his Facebook.

These developments come just a few days after the Federal Government, in a statement issued by the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, barred Nigerian filmmakers from include material relating to money rites in their productions.

According to them, the rise in the number of occurrences of ritual killings in Nigeria is the result of the country’s thriving film industry.

Yul Edochie, an actor who appeared to be reacting to the command, posted a video of himself in a coffin and declared that he was filming a romance film, not a money ritual film.

He intends to propose to his beloved from the coffin, which is typically used as a prop in money ritual movies, according to the actor who appeared to be making a mockery of the Federal Government’s decree.

However, it is unclear whether the actor was actually working on a movie set or was just having a good time.

He wrote the captions for the video.

“Una say no more Ritual movies, abi?” says the director.
There is no wahala.
In my own way, I don’t enter the world of romance.
Una, please come hear me for my hand.
“Take a look at this.”
