Updated 14/04/2022: Kim Kardashian’s divorce attorney calls out Kanye West when discussing complicated divorce proceedings
After it was revealed that Kim Kardashian didn’t speak to Kanye West for eight months after she filed for divorce in February 2021, her attorney Laura Wasser has now called out West, discussing how his social media presence has complicated the divorce proceedings.
In an interview Bustle, the 53-year-old lawyer was asked about criticising an ex on social media, at which point it seems that West sprung to her mind.
She said: ‘There’s no reason that you need to come out publicly and make statements about somebody when you’re going through what should be a pretty private thing. I mean, “Hi, Kanye West.”‘
Of West’s actions, She added:’That’s probably not the best way to go about things, particularly as a parent.’
In terms of her suggestions for navigating divorce, she insisted that it is best to keep domestic matters off social media.
‘Let’s give very vanilla stuff over the next however many months, so that it’s not raising eyebrows and creating more attention,’ she advised.
