Nigerians have reacted positively to a video of philanthropist Olakunle Churchill giving breakfast to his wife, Rosy Meurer, in bed.
Nigerians are ecstatic.
The mother of one took to Instagram to share the touching video, which demonstrates how caring and attentive her husband can be. Churchill allegedly told her that was the only type of “breakfast” she deserved from him.
Aside from its traditional connotation, breakfast is also a Nigerian slang term for heartbreak. As a result, it’s her husband’s pledge that he won’t break her heart.
She wrote in the caption,
“When bae tells me that this is the only form of “BREAKFAST” I deserve from him #happysunday #breakfastserved #breakfastinbed #QUEENOFALLQUEENS”
Churchill is seen in the video approaching Rosy, who is on the bed, with a tray of food that includes fried eggs, plantains, hotdogs, and a side dish.
While some internet users gushed over the controversial couple, others suggested that they not publish love gestures on social media since it could be interpreted as a dig at Churchill’s ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh.
