Manchester United is looking for a fan mail reader to help keep stars like Cristiano Ronaldo safe from trolls.

One of the difficulties the new player care coordinator will face is dealing with the deluge of letters sent to the club.

The majority of the posts will be from passionate fans applauding their stars, such as Ronaldo and World Cup winner Paul Pogba.

Stars, on the other hand, may receive abusive or inappropriate correspondence that must be screened away.

The successful candidate for the Old Trafford job will “help with the administration of player fan mail,” according to the job advertisement.

They’ll also assist with office tasks like “filing, photocopying, faxing, delivery receipts, and postal chores,” as well as “oversee and obtain corporate presents in accordance with club sponsorship.”

The ad emphasizes that the successful candidate must contribute to the upkeep of “first-class administrative standards and a high level of confidentiality.”

“All confidential material will be managed while database records, including passports and visas, will be maintained,” they add.

At a club full of worldwide stars, they must be “trustworthy with integrity,” “capable of being privy to extremely private information without disclosure,” and have “knowledge and mastery of foreign languages.”
