Mikel Arteta Given Approval To Sign Players On Deadline Day

As the January transfer window closes today, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is said to have received permission from the club’s management to add three players.
With only a few hours till the transfer window closes, the North London club is failed to acquire a new player.

Arteta and the club’s sporting director, Edu, missed out on some fantastic additions this winter, notably Dusan Vlahovic, who joined Juventus, and Arthur Melo, who stayed in Turin.

Arsenal has explored options, but it is unclear whether they will be able to complete a deal before the market closes.

Nikolaj Moller is anticipated to finish the season with Eerste Divisie team FC Den Bosch, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the club’s previous captain, is also slated to leave on deadline day.

Barcelona has emerged as the frontrunner to recruit the striker, but his salary is proving to be a stumbling hurdle for the Spanish club.

If Arsenal sells Aubameyang, the club will attempt to sign a new striker before the transfer deadline.

Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Lille’s Jonathan David, and Real Sociedad’s Alexander Isak are all potential replacements that cannot be ruled out.
