In a statement released many months after their speculated breakup, Naija actress Vee Iye announced that her relationship with former housemate Neo Akpofure is indeed finished.

Big Brother Naija’s “Lockdown” edition in 2020 brought the two estranged lovers together for the first time, sparking the beginning of an enviable love affair. Although they had been together for more than a year, there were reports of a breakdown in their relationship.

It’s worth recalling that allegations of a probable breakdown in their relationship first surfaced in late 2017.

Vee confirmed that she is currently single in a new Instagram post published this evening. She uploaded a photo and the following message:

“Soft and single” is a phrase used to describe a person who is soft and single.

Both sides have unfollowed each other on Instagram as a result of this incident.
